We had a terrific conference event yesterday covering business and investment opportunities in digital media. The event really highlighted both the major media companies in Connecticut - with ESPN, AT&T and Nielsen speaking - as well as the fast growing enterpreneurial community with a demo area of two dozen startups. Finally, Joseph Jaffe was that great combination of entertaining and educational as he shed light on the what makes digital media and conversational marketing work (and not work). |

We've got a terrific conference lined up for October 28th with speakers from AT&T U-verse in Connecticut, ESPN, Nielsen, RemoTV, Shop Text, DFJ Gotham Ventures and Blue Chip Venture Company. Joseph Jaffe of Crayon will be our keynote. You can see the full agenda here - http://www.cvg.org/Emails/_2008/2008_10_28_DigitalMedia.html. I hope to see you there. Ephraim |

Welcome back from your summer vacation (or the kids’ summer vacation). We’ve got a great year planned for the CT Digital Media Business Network. |

You may have noticed a few changes in the Web site over the last few weeks. Thanks to Tom Boone (www.tomboone.com), we've been working on a site layout that is more functional and organized. The current changes are designed to have a separate blog section (to which I will try and post quick updates on a regular basis), member and network news section and events section and calendar. We're almost done with this phase which will be topped with a new logo. |
